Maria is an Associate and Senior Architectural Technician at JTP with extensive experience specialising in residential projects of various scales, in London and across the UK. Maria has secured a number of planning consents across London and the UK in complex brownfield locations.
She leads projects from initial concept design through to implementation and ensures all proposals are fully optimised, revealing each site’s full potential and ensuring viability is fully incorporated at planning stage. Maria’s portfolio ranges from low-density housing schemes to high-density regeneration projects. Her technical background and extensive experience allows her to unlock high-density urban regeneration projects and the associated technical complexities. Maria is an experienced member of the Revit user group and has a key role implementing BIM within the practice.
Notable projects include Knowle Park, Cranleigh – a landscape led new neighbourhood with views of surrounding countryside and new Park for A2 Dominion including 300 homes. Creating a unique place that is part of Cranleigh was at the heart of the design. The first phase of this development is now occupied with JTP’s designs for the new homes and community coming to life.
Maria has recently led the regeneration of the former gasholder site at The Green Quarter, Southall – one of London’s most notable regeneration projects, transforming the inaccessible former gasworks into a dynamic urban quarter. The new neighbourhood will provide extensive parkland, a new biodiverse wetlands, up to 8,104 homes, workspaces, school and sports hall for residents and the Community.
Other notable projects among Maria’s portfolio include Albion Waterside, Fulham Reach, Brunel Street Works, The Nicholson Quarter, Alconbury Weald and Hungate.
