Johanna Lynn
Architect
BArch (Hons) MArch

Johanna is an Architect in the London Studio. She joined JTP as a Part I Architectural Assistant in 2018 and returned as a Part 2 Assistant in 2021 after completing her Masters in Architecture at the University of Sheffield.

Recently, Johanna has gained extensive experience in high-density, mixed-use masterplanning projects in and around London, including the regeneration of The Green Quarter, Southall. This project will provide 5,000 new homes within a landscape led masterplan providing new wetlands, 1km of enhanced canalside and an extension of the existing Central Gardens. Previous to this Johanna worked on The Nicholson Quarter in Maidenhead, which will revitalise an existing three-hectare shopping centre into a mixed-use town centre. Johanna is a firm believer in the importance of community engagement and making a place that works for the local people. This was the design approach for a former cattle market site, in Liskeard, Cornwall, which is to become a new hub for the local community.

Johanna is a key driver in JTP’s Sustainability Post Occupancy Working Group, gaining qualitative and quantitative feedback into the building performance, and working towards the RIBA Climate Challenge.

Johanna is part of JTP’s Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Group and is championing inclusive design to ensure JTP are considering as many needs as possible within their designs.

Outside of the office, she can be found training for her first marathon, painting abstract landscapes, or tending to her growing number of edible plants.

Our people are the heart of who we are.
