Fran is a Senior Architect in our London Studio with almost 10 years of industry experience designing and delivering residential-led projects ranging in size and complexity, from the design of bespoke housing extensions through to large-scale, mixed-use neighbourhoods for major developers.
Upon joining JTP, Fran played an integral role in the award-winning Nicholson Quarter development, creating an exciting mixed-use and later living regeneration project for Maidenhead’s town centre. Fran has also worked on smaller-scale projects at JTP including Howes Green; a PRS housing project in Cambridge.
More recently, Fran undertook a key role on our Fulton and Fifth project in Wembley delivering a 750-home mixed-use scheme providing a range of retail, leisure, light industrial and residential uses. Alongside this project, Fran also worked together with the JTP team on the delivery of the world’s tallest modular student building at 35 storeys in Lewisham.
Fran has a particular interest in the careful communication of design narratives in order to develop a sense of place which is responsive, meaningful and engaging. She believes that community engagement is crucial to achieving a truly successful place, and has collaborated adeptly with a multitude of stakeholders at numerous public consultations.
Outside of the office, Fran is a part-time Teaching Fellow at the University of Bath and is passionate about our role in nurturing the talent of the future. She was selected for the Royal Academy of Arts’ ‘AttRAct Programme’ and continues to support emerging talent as an alumna. Her further interests include salsa, skiing and travelling.
