Brian is a Senior Urban Designer at JTP. He joined the London studio after previously studying Urban Planning, Design and Management at the Bartlett School of Planning, University College London.

At JTP, Brian has worked on a range of strategic residential-led, masterplanning projects at various stages for different local authorities and clients with an interest in developing practical, exciting and sustainable urban design solutions for local communities. Within the design team, Brian plays a key role in the collaborative placemaking process, supporting the design team from developing initial concepts, visioning and site analysis through to stakeholder engagement, design development, planning submission and design coding.

Currently, Brian is working on the transformation of a 575 hectare brownfield site at Alconbury Weald into a new neighbourhood providing over 5,000 homes, an employment Enterprise Campus, new schools, transport linkages, energy infrastructure and community facilities – all integrated within over 280 hectare of open space. With Key Phase One now well under way on site, Brian has recently been working on the development of the next key phase for Alconbury Weald.

Alongside this project, Brian is also contributing to the transformation of a former coal power station at Rugeley, developing a new sustainable community at Rugby Radio Station, and transforming a former Ministry of Defence site at Princess Royal Barracks in Mindenhurst, Deepcut.

In his spare time Brian enjoys listening to music, running and playing a variety of sports including badminton, football and tennis.

Our people are the heart of who we are.
