Supporting Regal and AC Design Solutions, JTP provided pro-bono planning support throughout the application process, with the proposals replacing the vacant structure with a new long-term home for the boxing club. The modern facility will encompass a new gym and sporting areas, physio rooms, office space, changing facilities, and a café which will be open to the public.

Currently sporting 650 members, Stonebridge Boxing Club provides a dedicated and safe space for youth and community activities to help tackle the fight against violent crimes and a number of health issues faced by Brent residents. The new building will bring enhanced community and recreational benefits to the local area and continue to deliver valuable charitable activities to the people of Brent, offering them a positive environment for physical activity and personal development.

Opened to the public in 1914, King Edward VII Park is a locally listed heritage asset and boasts an impressive range of facilities including tennis courts, football pitches and a multi-use games area. The state-of-the-art facility and café will reinforce the existing offer and help attract new people to use the green space. New trees will also contribute to landscape and habitat improvements and the promotion of sustainable transport will be encouraged through improved cycle parking around the new building.
