Sam Hewitson
Architectural Assistant
BA(Hons) MArch

Sam joined JTP as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant after completing his Master’s degree at the University of Sheffield. When studying at university, Sam explored a speculative yet practical proposal for agro-urban living in Worksop. It explored how architecture can address the urgent need to improve the relationship between urban and agricultural landscapes – all within a sustainable, community-driven framework.

Sam has experience working on a variety of low-density residential projects in Kent and Hampshire. This includes the delivery of mixed-tenure schemes, intergenerational housing, and student accommodations. In his role at JTP, Sam is working with his project teams on Spratsbrook Farm in Tunbridge Wells which is allocated for 120 homes and is working on a masterplan in West Sussex.

Outside of architecture, Sam plays for an inclusive rugby team, enjoys running and hiking, and loves to host a dinner party at the weekend.

Our people are the heart of who we are.
