DipArch RIBA

Sabrina fulfils the important role of Technical Coordinator at JTP.

Drawing on over 30 years of architectural experience, Sabrina is responsible for the quality control of JTP’s projects and plays a key role in the Design Quality and Risk Management Team. She keeps a keen eye on the evolving situation within the industry, with a particular focus on fire safety and sustainability.

Sabrina plays a multi-faceted role within the office. She participates in developing JTP’s detailed project procedures with checklists ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.  She is involved with the inductions and training and shares her extensive knowledge and experience of residential design, housing regulation and technical issues in supporting project teams across the studio. She still loves designing and is easily tempted into doing more than just advising. However, her core work is managing the ongoing programme of audits, pouring over the detailed planning application drawings, or painstakingly scrutinising long and detailed Design and Access Statements or Design Codes.

A believer in life-long learning, Sabrina has a wide variety of interests from sustainability and climate emergency resilience, through the impact the built environment has on individuals and communities, to the importance of the role played by the architects in addressing the societal problems.

Sabrina loves to cook, enjoys her garden, and is never bored of watching interior design programmes or historical documentaries. While she prefers to be at home, she is willing to travel to a ski resort or a countryside retreat. Recently, she seems to be finding time to resurrect her love of theatre, and is always either reading or listening to a book, often several at the same time.

Our people are the heart of who we are.
