Namita is an Urban Designer at JTP with experience spanning architecture and urban design across India and the UK. She began her career as an Architect in India, where she worked on high-profile projects and led health sector developments that prioritised sustainability and energy-efficient solutions.
Since undertaking her Master’s degree at The Bartlett, UCL, Namita has focussed on residential schemes across London, managing Design and Access Statements and supporting planning applications for complex urban projects. Her combined expertise in architecture and urban design enables her to approach placemaking with a strong emphasis on functionality, sustainability and community needs.
At JTP, Namita works on strategic masterplanning projects, notably contributing to the proposed new settlement at Worcestershire Parkway, a major growth area that will deliver a vibrant mixed-use community comprising up to 5,500 new homes. In this role, she ensures that design principles foster inclusivity, connectivity and a strong sense of place.
Beyond her professional work, Namita enjoys travelling across Europe and Asia, exploring diverse cultures and urban landscapes. She spends weekends swimming and has a passion for reading, art and theatre.
