With an interest in the built environment and design, Laura is JTP’s Marketing and Bid Manager working to deliver engaging communications and collateral to promote JTP’s profile across the industry. She works across both strategic and executional levels, collaborating closely with JTP’s Managing Partner and Board of Partners to shape our marketing direction, whilst owning the day-to-day delivery of outputs.

Utilising her analytical skills and passion for writing, Laura creates a wide variety of JTP’s marketing material including thought leadership publications, project profiles, press releases and award submissions – ensuring all capture the narrative and storytelling behind JTP’s places. Most recently, Laura contributed to the authorship of three major JTP research publications including Creating Healthy Places, Creating New Towns and the Future of Place. For the latter, Laura facilitated a series of research days including a dedicated youth workshop for 16-30 year olds involving tailored design activities to curate their vision for future communities.

Laura led the major task of redesigning JTP’s new website which includes a plethora of rich illustrations, animations and film footage to capture JTP’s approach. For this project, Laura undertook a variety of duties including leading the art direction of filming days, undertaking edit workshops of the subsequent footage, writing new copy and preparing a launch campaign across JTP’s social media channels.

Another part of Laura’s role involves the organisation of practice events at our studio which included JTP’s recent 30th Anniversary celebrations where she helped coordinate and plan a special evening to celebrate with over 400 colleagues and clients.

Elsewhere, Laura manages JTP’s social media presence across LinkedIn and Instagram; oversees updates to our website including SEO work; and is also responsible for co-ordinating submissions for new business opportunities where she manages and writes bid and tender proposals in a timely manner.

As the marketing lead in JTP’s AI Working Group, Laura brings a thoughtful approach to new tools and technologies assisting our practice-wide AI strategy and producing LLM prompt scripts and agents for marketing tasks.

Her fondness for anything creative is continued outside of the office, where Laura enjoys making creations from clay and composing her own editorial work. Additionally, Laura is an enthusiastic cook and baker and has been known to make a five-tiered rainbow cake, much to her family’s delight!
