Joe has been with the practice since 2014 and is now an Associate Director having built an extensive industry knowledge and portfolio of projects. He has developed a broad range of expertise across residential-led development of varying scales, from bespoke building plots, high-density masterplanning, single-family housing and town centre regeneration. Alongside this, Joe has an extensive experience of working with sensitive heritage assets including listed structures and buildings.

Joe’s portfolio includes the development of The Green Quarter masterplan – a new 44 hectare mixed-use development in the London Borough of Ealing, the town centre regeneration of Union Street, Aldershot and the sensitive redevelopment of an office plot to its original residential use in Sevenoaks, Kent. This is supported by a portfolio of schemes across London and the south of England.

Between 2016 and 2019, Joe led the office fit-out for JTP’s new studio Pennington Street Warehouse – a Grade II listed building – which received a series of accolades on its design-led approach which focused on consultation, wellbeing and sustainability strategies.

Within the office Joe leads the Design Review process, charged with pursuing design excellence across the practice. He also heads working groups and is tasked with keeping them up to date on emerging industry standards. He is always happy to give a tour of the studio and continues to try to generate interest in the JTP Chess Club!
