Joe Worrall
Associate Director
BA(Hons) MArch ARB RIBA

Joe is an Architect and Associate Director with over 10 years of experience in placemaking, architecture and masterplanning.

He has built an extensive industry knowledge and portfolio of projects that includes new urban quarters, town centre regenerations, bespoke building plots, high-density masterplanning projects and buildings. Alongside this, Joe has a significant experience of working with sensitive heritage assets including listed buildings and structures. He focusses on people-led places, embedding wellbeing into every project and delivering value for all stakeholders and clients.

Within his portfolio, Joe has worked on one of London’s most visionary and sustainable regeneration projects at The Green Quarter in the London Borough of Ealing developing a masterplan for the 44-hectare site which will transform the former gasworks with 8,100 homes, 18,000 sqm of mixed-uses and an extensive network of green spaces. Joe has also led several town centre regenerations which include Union Street in Aldershot establishing a distinctive, mixed-use town centre and the new Civic Square in Chorley featuring 31 new homes with ground floor mixed-uses at an enhanced civic square.

More recently he has been working with the JTP Engages community planning team to lead the proposals for a new community at Finchley Lakeside, in the London Borough of Barnet, and the redevelopment of Chrisp Street Market, the primary District Centre of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. Both projects featured bespoke engagement processes and were named as finalists in the Pineapple Awards 2026 Community Engagement category. This is supported by a portfolio of projects across London and the UK for both private and public sector clients.

Between 2016 and 2019, Joe was the Project Architect for the office fit-out for JTP’s new London studio at Pennington Street Warehouse, London Docks – a Grade II listed building – which received a series of accolades on its design-led approach which focussed on consultation, wellbeing and sustainability strategies. The building has been recognised at both the RIBA Awards and British Council for Offices Awards.

Within the office Joe works across a variety of working groups and brings his expertise to JTP’s weekly design reviews, dispersing new industry standards and analysing emerging markets in the sector. He is always happy to give a tour of the studio and continues to try to generate interest in the JTP Chess Club!
