Ellie is an Assistant Urban Designer with a background in Geography and a Distinction in Urban Design and International Planning from the University of Manchester. She brings a strong foundation in placemaking, inclusive design, and strategic masterplanning with a particular interest in people focussed environments. Her academic work explored gender mainstreaming, and she continues to champion inclusive and equitable design approaches in her professional work.
Since joining JTP, Ellie has contributed to a range of projects including South Godstone, Bromley, and Danzey Green. She has supported the design process through site analysis, concept development, and the production of key outputs such as Design and Access Statements and Vision Documents.
Ellie has a growing interest in community engagement and recently contributed to JTP Engages processes at Alconbury Weald speaking to young people about living there, and the community exhibition event at South Godstone, where she enjoyed interacting with the public and helping shape design responses.
Outside of work, Ellie is passionate about creativity, wellbeing, and community. She enjoys staying active through netball, dance, and fitness, and finds inspiration in art galleries, travel, and exploring new food spots.
