Eilidh is an Assistant Urban Designer at JTP. She studied Mechanical Engineering with International Studies at University of Strathclyde which included a year out at the Polytechnical University of Valencia. She then went on to graduate with a distinction in MSc Urban Design, also from University of Strathclyde.
She decided to pursue a degree in urban design due to her strong passion for sustainability which developed further throughout her studies, alongside an interest for the human-scale and active mobility. As such, Eilidh completed her master’s dissertation on tactical urbanism as a pro-environmental behaviour change tool, exploring its close ties to placemaking and affordance theory.
Since joining JTP, Eilidh has worked a variety of exciting projects and is currently using her visual communication skills to support the movement vision for an Essex-based cultural quarter.
Outside the office, Eilidh is a keen runner which she sees as a great way to explore new cities and trails.
