Diana is an Assistant Urban Designer at JTP. She completed her undergraduate degree in Architecture and Urban Planning at Newcastle University and graduated with an MSc in Urban Design and City Planning from UCL.
Since joining the practice, Diana has supported the production of a vision document for a strategic opportunity in Cornwall where she used her strong illustration skills to convey the essence of the concept masterplan. Currently, she is working on a visioning process for a mixed-use project situation along the Oxford-Cambridge Growth Arc.
Throughout her studies, Diana has been particularly interested in walkability and the public realm. For her final year project, she researched children’s routes to school. She incorporated co-design to shape her framework, through organising drawing workshops with children to understand their ability to memory map and wayfinding through their local neighbourhood.
Outside the office, Diana enjoys exploring new cities or recharging in nature. During her travels she often records her inspiration through small sketches and filming short videos.
