Andrine joined JTP as a Part 2 Architectural Assistant after completing her Master’s at the Manchester School of Architecture.
She is drawn to architecture’s role in mental health and healing, and strives to design environments that are not only functional but deeply human. Her final thesis explored how architecture can help rekindle a sense of home for individuals with dementia in Malaysia, proposing a dementia village masterplan that translated feelings of stability, connection and purpose into built form. The project aimed to destigmatise the condition and support reintegration into society.
At JTP, Andrine has been working on Manor Farm, a residential scheme addressing local housing needs through a mix of affordable and private homes in a sustainable setting. She has also contributed to JTP’s sustainability strategy, producing visual diagrams and graphic assets that communicate key environmental priorities and design principles.
Andrine is passionate about using illustration and visual storytelling to make architecture more accessible and inclusive. She believes clear visual communication is essential for bridging the gap between designers and communities, empowering people to engage with and shape the spaces around them.
Outside of architecture, Andrine enjoys creating narrative digital illustrations and developing character designs. She is also learning stick-and-poke tattooing as a creative outlet.
