A new riverside neighbourhood set within a historic landscape

Directly located on the River Thames, Fitzroy Gate will transform a seven acre site into a gated estate with new homes surrounded by a parkland setting. The new neighbourhood also seeks to retain and refurbish the Grade II listed White House, built in 1832 and several other listed buildings on the site including the chapel, stable block and gatehouse.

Project Delivery

– The new buildings on the site will provide 36 extra-care residential apartments and 62 new homes with vehicular access, associated car parking and landscaping.

– Homes range from 2-bedroom apartments to more spacious six-bedroom family homes.

– New buildings will sit sympathetically alongside the existing structures to create a calm, considered and elegant backdrop within which the architecture of the existing buildings can be celebrated and enjoyed.

– Special design attention was given to the existing buildings present on the site, which were proposed to be returned to their original use as residential accommodation, although modified to suit modern living requirements.

– Enhanced biodiversity with the restoration of the mature landscaped parkland and increased planting for wildlife to flourish.

– An abundance of greenery, footpaths and dedicated open space for residents to enjoy and have a connection to the outdoors.
