Project Delivery
– The design concept is based on harmony between man and nature; and the area has been split into six zones that respond to the site’s topography, the natural environment and human development.
– A masterplan that locates the new town to the south-west of the natural wetlands and aims to protect the wetland sanctuary and bird island by developing tourist attractions such as a wetland visitor centre and wetland park, hotels, clubs and retreats.
– A leisure lake was created at the lower site of Xiazhu Lake, to maximise the protection of the wetland sanctuary. It will be used for water sports and leisure boating, which is linked to the retail street to the north.
