In a year of unprecedented challenges, JTP is delighted to be recognised, by its employees and the Architect’s Journal, for our efforts to engage, motivate and support our teams; working collaboratively albeit remotely.

This year marks the third successive year for JTP as finalist in the category, and only the second year where a Highly Commended has been awarded. The judges emphasised that there was “exceptionally strong competition – from JTP Architects in particular” when selecting an overall winner.

The AJ100 Employer of the Year award recognises and celebrates best practice measures for employee engagement including employee satisfaction, workplace culture, benefits and staff turnover.

The 2021 Architects’ Journal judges praised JTP’s ‘long-established and excellent employment benefits package’, including the pioneering interest-free housing support loan, which has now benefitted 28% of its people.

The judges further commended JTP’s approach to the issues created for its employees during the pandemic commenting that “JTP’s response to Covid-19 also impressed, in particular its board-led initiative to tackle meeting and email overload during working from home, as well as a contribution to staff fuel bills.”
