The programme focuses on confronting the critical sustainability issues facing the built environment and industry, and will run over a six month period from January to June. With a record number of applications this year from all corners of the industry, Liz has been chosen alongside 26 other professionals who now have the opportunity to be involved in two in-person workshops, with expert speakers and facilitators, ahead of a showcase event in June.
Following graduation from the programme, Liz will join over 270 individuals and continue to collaborate through involvement in the UKGBC Leadership Alumni group, which brings opportunities for further widening of networks, professional development and access to a growing number of thought-leaders across the built environment value chain.
Since joining JTP in 2016, Liz has become an in-house sustainability expert, co-ordinating JTP’s sustainability champions and the development of our in-house resources, driving the practice’s Routemap to 2030. In 2017, she became involved in the design of JTP’s new studio, Pennington Street Warehouse – a grade II-listed former bonded warehouse which was reimagined through creative reuse and adaptation into our new London studio. Liz was responsible for ensuring we succeeded our ambitions to create a sustainable, healthy, VOC-free studio – one that achieved the BREEAM accreditation.
