Once part of Mogden Farm and later home to light industry, the site became an office park known as the Victory Business Centre before it rebranded as the Wireless Factory. Transforming the site in three consecutive phases, Phase 3 will deliver 111 new homes across two new buildings – The Loop and The Dial. The apartment mix includes one and two-bedroom dwellings, with 72% of apartments achieving dual-aspect outlook.

Sitting at six storeys, The Loop building maintains the established scale of the wider masterplan, whilst The Dial steps down to three storeys at the northern and western edge of the site, responding to the lower-rise local residential context. A landscaped communal garden and courtyard sit at the heart of The Loop, with play space, landscaped planting and a green archway marking the residential entrance. Roof terraces on both buildings extend the amenity offer further, framing views south towards Richmond Park, Bushy Park and Twickenham Stadium.

From the outset, JTP’s approach to the Wireless Factory has been grounded in the character of the existing buildings on site. Red brick façades, Crittall-style windows and stone banding – details inspired by the existing Wireless Factory buildings – carry through into both buildings, tying Phase 3 to the architectural language established in earlier phases. The Loop introduces a deliberate material contrast – a robust red brick exterior facing the street and a lighter buff brick courtyard within – drawing on the traditional factory logic of public-facing frontages and quieter internal yards. The Dial anchors the western end of The Boulevard, completing and framing the internal street.

Sustainability runs through the proposals: existing building materials are being reused to cut embodied carbon, homes will achieve an EPC A rating and heat pumps, photovoltaic panels and a near car-free approach, with cycle storage prioritised reduces reliance on private cars.
