Jasmine joined JTP’s Bristol studio as a Part 1 Architectural Assistant after completing her BSc (Hons) at the University of Cardiff. Her final year project focussed on the retrofit of the Job Centre Plus on Swansea high street, aiming to create a building and service that better accommodated neurodivergent individuals and break down harmful stereotypes surrounding the people who use the job centre, by opening its doors the community and providing a voice for the people.
Currently in her role at JTP, she has worked on several projects such as Maple Urban Village in Manchester and North Road and Victoria Road in Bristol. She has worked on putting together feasibility studies and Pre-App documents, creating a range of context mapping and architectural principles studies as well as diagrams to explain design decisions and processes.
Outside of JTP, Jasmine enjoys cooking and exploring new towns and cities. She is currently completing her MArch at Cardiff University alongside work, allowing her to put skills learnt practice into use in academic projects.
