Pennington Street Warehouse shortlisted in the 2019 New London Awards

JTP is delighted that our new studio at Pennington Street Warehouse, London Dock, Wapping has been shortlisted for Best Workplace in the New London Awards 2019.

NLA’s annual New London Awards, presented in association with the Mayor of London, celebrate the very best architecture, planning and development schemes making the capital a better place in which to live, work and play.

The Workplaces category seeks to promote projects that create inspiring working environments and meet the needs of business, technology and the individual.

Our creative reuse and adaptation of the Grade 2 listed Pennington Street Warehouse, at London Dock, has reimagined the space appreciating the unique character of the building and its contrasting spaces; respecting the building’s historic features and scars of its former life.

An exemplar workspace; our new studio has been designed to respond to the way we work – creative, collaborative, and project-based, enabling major change in our working practices to provide greater flexibility; improved communication and knowledge sharing whilst promoting healthy lifestyles and social interaction.

The design of the studio encourages health, sustainability and well-being. We are proud to have achieved a VOC free environment and a BREEAM rating of ‘Very Good’.

The winners will be announced at a ceremony on Wednesday 3 July.
