JTP Team to Deliver 1000 Homes in Leeds

JTP are delighted to be part of a team chosen to deliver over 1000 new homes across 13 brownfield sites in the Seacroft, Halton Moor and Osmandthorpe areas of Leeds.

JTP, Keepmoat and Strata Homes will be working in collaboration with Leeds City Council to deliver the much needed, quality affordable homes across three neighbourhoods which will also benefit from a £142m investment.

JTP Partner Alan Stewart said “ JTP are delighted to have assisted Keepmoat and Strata in securing this wonderful opportunity in Leeds – we’re looking forward to developing detailed proposals for how these sites will evolve and contribute to the long term success of the three surrounding neighbourhoods – broadening housing choice and variety, adding public open spaces and creating a range of new and complementary places”

Ian Hoad, Operations Director for Keepmoat in Yorkshire, said: “We are actively expanding our presence in West Yorkshire, where we see a real appetite for new homes. With 95% of our developments built on brownfield land we are perfectly placed to deliver this scheme and we’re thrilled to have been selected as chosen developer alongside Strata.

“Working in partnership with Strata will allow us to accelerate the delivery of these new homes, with the target of achieving 150 properties per annum.

“We aren’t just taking one development in one part of the region. We are completely overhauling three neighbourhoods and potentially putting nearly 1000 people in the region on the property ladder.”

Work is due to start on site in early 2017.
