JTP Studios at Pennington Street Warehouse awarded Fit-Out Project of the Year at the London Construction Awards

Rounding off the 2019 awards season, JTP is decidedly proud to announce that our refurbishment of Pennington Street Warehouse has been awarded Fit-Out Project of the Year at the London Construction Awards. 

Our creative reuse and adaptation of the Grade II listed building at London Dock has reimagined the space appreciating the unique character of the building and its contrasting spaces; respecting the building’s historic features and scars of its former life.

The move gave us the opportunity to enhance communication and rethink the way we work together in a new environment. Our design team, very purposefully, created a social place for our teams, clients and collaborators to meet, socialise and converse – spurring a culture of serendipitous interactions to breed innovation and new thinking.

The design is rich in space typologies. An interspersed series of shared informal spaces, meeting rooms, co-working booths, intimate client areas, across generously proportioned floor plates, deliver a series of diverse work zones which encourage employees to explore the wider office, circulating, collaborating and creating chance alliances.

The London Construction Awards recognise achievements, developments and innovation within London’s booming construction industry and feature a wide range of categories for solution providers, contractors, architects, civil engineers, developers and local authorities.
