JTP Partner to Speak at AIA Leadership Event in Detroit

JTP Partner Charles Campion is this week speaking at Grassroots 2016, the American Institute of Architects 42nd annual leadership event in Detroit, USA.

Grassroots 2016 is the premier annual gathering for leaders of the AIA. It is an essential Professional Development resource for those who want to become better civic and chapter leaders.

Charles is part of the panel for a workshop entitled 'State of the Art: Design & Public Participation', which will discuss current challenges, lessons learned, and innovative new approaches to involving the public in decisions about the built environment in their cities. He will explore how community engagement can elevate the importance of design in decisions about the built environment, drawing on lessons learned from the extensive range of JTP projects which have involved our unique community planning process.

Grassroots 2016 takes place at the Detroit Marriott Renaissance Center, beginning officially on Wednesday 24 February, and ending on Thursday 25 February. For further details click here.
