Graylingwell Park Scoops Best Zero Carbon Initiative Award

Graylingwell Park has won the Best Low or Zero Carbon Initiative in this year's Housebuilder Awards.

The awards, now in their 6th year, bring together the best of innovation and excellence in the housebuilding industry and award those leading the way in innovation.

The mixed-use scheme for 750 new homes (40% will be affordable) was designed through a community planning process for the development partnership of Linden Homes, Affinity Sutton and the Homes & Communities Agency.

The scheme regenerates an 85-acre redundant hospital site to the north-east of Chichester and is the largest carbon neutral neighbourhood in the UK. It will meet net zero carbon for the whole development, Code for Sustainable Homes Level 4, Code 6 for Energy, and EcoHomes Excellent on all refurbished buildings.
