A further two award shortlistings for Pennington Street Warehouse

More good news for JTP, as Pennington Street Warehouse has been successfully shortlisted for a further two awards! The first for the AJ Architecture Awards in the Workplace (up to 10,000m²) category, and the second being named as a finalist in the London Construction Awards for Fit-out Project of the Year.

An exemplar workspace; JTP’s new studio in Wapping has been designed to respond to the way the practice works - creative, collaborative and project based, enabling major operational change in working practices to provide greater flexibility; improved communication and knowledge sharing whilst promoting healthy lifestyles and social interaction.

Drawing upon the history of the former Grade 2 listed former bonded warehouse, JTP’s imaginative transformation has created a healthy and sustainable studio, and collaborative workplace through the creative reuse and adaptation of the warehouse. Through the design process the space was reimagined, appreciating the unique character of the building and its contrasting spaces; respecting the unique historic features and scars of its former life.

Both award ceremonies will be taking place in November and we look forward to finding out the results.
