'20/20 Visions' shortlisted for Urban Design Awards 2019 Book of the Year

“20/20 Visions: Collaborative Planning & Placemaking” by Charles Campion, JTP’s partner-in-charge of Community Planning, has been shortlisted for the Urban Design Awards 2019 Book of the Year.

“20/20 Visions” gives practitioners and communities the inspiration and confidence to introduce co-design Charrettes in to their planning processes, enabling them to add social, economic and environmental value to projects and produce better places. A series of 20 international case studies present the strengths of the Charrette process and show how they can be delivered on a variety of scales, sectors and sites.

I am delighted that 20/20 Visions has made it onto the shortlist for this prestigious award. Communities have a collective intelligence which brings social, economic and environmental value to designing cities and neighbourhoods. 20/20 Visions aims to bring communities genuinely to the heart of planning and placemaking.

The winner of the Urban Design Awards 2019 Book of the Year will be announced on Thursday 28 March at the Tab Centre, Shoreditch, London.
