Maidenhead Vision Community Report Back Presentation

The Maidenhead Town Centre Vision and Charter points can be viewed here. Background  Over 300 people attended the Maidenhead Vision Community Planning Day on Saturday 23 November 2019, 10.00am to 4.00pm at Nicholsons Shopping Centre to help shape a new Vision and Charter for Maidenhead Town Centre.

Following the Community Planning Day, the JTP team analysed and summarised the outcomes to draw up a draft Charter for Maidenhead Town Centre. This was presented back to the local community on Tuesday 14 January 2020 at St Mary’s Church.

Vision and Charter Document Following the Report Back, JTP will prepare a final Vision and Charter document for further consideration prior to submission to the RBWM and partner organisations.

The new Vision and Charter will describe and illustrate the future of Maidenhead Town Centre and inform developers about the expectations and aspirations of the community. It will also help guide a number of other future areas of work, including the future transport and parking strategies and public realm design standards.
