We are working towards an Outline Planning Application for Land North & East of Ware in 2022. This exhibition is your chance to get involved and continue to shape the future Vision for the land at North & East of Ware.

In-person Visit the in-person exhibition at Ware Priory 1-9pm, Tuesday 30 November & 4-9pm, Wednesday 1 December 2021, talk with the design team and fill in the comments form available at the exhibition.

Background Land North & East of Ware has been allocated in the adopted District Plan for a residential-led, mixed-use development of 1,000 homes, with a further 500 homes subject to suitable highways mitigation measures. Ptarmigan Land and JTP are keen to work closely with the local community to help shape the new proposals and contribute to the Masterplanning Framework Document (MFD) which can be seen here.

The Story So Far
In May 2019 we facilitated a Community Planning process which provided direct input into the emerging proposals. These were then presented at a Report Back Exhibition in July2019. The feedback was used to shape the Masterplanning Framework Document (MFD), which was submitted to East Herts Council and approved on the 23 October 2019.

The global pandemic has affected progress since 2019 but we are pleased to now be re-engaging with the community and local stakeholders and providing an update on the proposals.

Pre-Application Exhibition
The exhibition will be a chance to view and comment on the emerging proposals and comments received will be assessed and shared with the design team who will then work up a hybrid planning application. This is an application that seeks outline planning permission for the residential, commercial, open space and community uses and full planning permission for the primary accesses and transport corridor through the development. It is anticipated that the planning application will be submitted in spring 2022.
