Albion Waterside Presentation of the Vision

The local community was invited to the Presentation of the Vision for Albion Waterside at 6pm on Wednesday 2 September 2020.

Joseph Homes is pleased to be bringing forward a proposal for the residential-led, mixed-use redevelopment of Albion Waterside, Canal Road. The regeneration proposals for this brownfield, urban site will include new homes, new commercial uses, public space and pedestrian access to the riverside in a previously inaccessible area.

In late July and August 2020, the community was asked to send in likes, dislikes and dreams for the future of the Albion Waterside site and its relationship with the surrounding area. Over 40 people responded via the “Communities” platform and using Freepost postcards. Their views were shared with the design team who prepared a Vision for the site. This Vision was shared with the community on Wednesday 2 September using Zoom. A recording of the presentation, with commentary from the design team, and a Q&A session can be seen here.
