Sarah McLeary

Senior Architect
MA (Hons) DipArch ARB

Sarah is a Senior Architect with broad expertise in the residential sector. She has worked on a range of projects from single houses, through to planning permissions for strategic sites throughout the UK. Since joining JTP's Edinburgh studio in 2014 she has worked on masterplans, bids and design codes for sites in England and Scotland, for a wide range of developers.

Sarah is experienced in the preparation of detail design packages for bids, feasibility and planning applications, skills that have been applied across a variety of projects. These include designs for the Millerhill proposals, a complex, 600-home scheme south-east of Edinburgh for CALA Homes, creating a new neighbourhood character through landscape and building treatments; and also on Graylingwell Park Phase 4, where she produced innovative house type designs for a high density site.

Alongside these projects, Sarah has also contributed to Wawne View, Hull where she is currently part of the architectural team for the next phase, completing the greenfield development with up to 850 homes, including a large new park for the surrounding area. Sarah is currently involved in the plan of Phase 3 at Carr Lodge in Doncaster, comprising an updated Design Code for over 650 homes, with community facilities and 7 hectares of open space.

Away from the office, Sarah manages a ceramic studio collective, and is a maker herself of stoneware ceramics.
