Having completed his M.Arch at the University of Sheffield, Michael joined JTP’s London studio as an Architectural Assistant before qualifying with JTP as an Architect.

His experience lies in delivering both low and high density residential projects at detailed design stages. Currently, he is working on numerous planning applications around the UK including the regeneration of Springfield University Hospital. Comprising 298 homes and 320sqm of commercial space, he collaborated with Wandsworth Borough Council and the client to deliver a high quality, sustainable, mixed-use development in the heart of Tooting, South London.

More recently, he has been involved is Watercress Island, a high-density, brownfield site which aims to deliver 266 build-to-rent apartments contained within two buildings, with a mix of uses at the ground floor and set within a new public realm.

He is also engaging with Islington Council to enhance two existing estates within the borough by delivering new affordable housing, a brand-new community space and high-quality landscaping.

Michael has a passion for challenging briefs and creating new residential-led places that establish a dynamic community and connect positively to the local neighbourhood.

Outside of the office, Michael enjoys keeping fit and healthy at the gym, running and skiing in the Alps.
