Joshua Cherry

Architect
BA (Hons) MArch PgDip ARB RIBA

Joshua joined JTP as an Architectural Assistant after completing his Master of Architecture degree at Portsmouth University. With a keen interest in the built environment his educational work tackled large scale urban interventions, exploring proposals for new towns and city districts, and was also selected for a design workshop in Northern China in collaboration with the British Council and local universities.

With JTP, Joshua has worked on a number of projects ranging from small residential neighbourhoods to larger mixed use masterplans. These include the redevelopment of a brownfield site in Chesham to provide new homes and an enterprise centre, as well as several new neighbourhoods in Surrey of up to 450 new homes designed in sensitive landscapes.

He is also currently leading work on the Daedalus Waterfront site in Lee-on-Solent, the first project in Homes England’s new national accelerated delivery programme and part of the wider regeneration of the former Royal Navy Air Station.

Outside of work Joshua enjoys sport, music and travel.
