Johanna Lynn

Architectural Assistant
BArch (Hons) MArch

Johanna joined JTP as a Part II Architectural Assistant after completing her Masters in Architecture at the University of Sheffield.

Recently, Johanna has gained extensive experience in high-density, mixed-use masterplanning projects in and around London, including the regeneration of The Nicholson Quarter in Maidenhead. This project will revitalise an existing three-hectare shopping centre into a mixed-use town centre with office, retail, later living accommodation and new residential uses which will all be knitted into the urban grain of the town. Alongside this, Johanna is also working on project in West London looking to redefine a new distinctive urban hub.

Johanna is a firm believer in the importance of community engagement and connecting with the identity and narrative of a place throughout a project’s duration. This participatory design is something she explored in her Masters’ thesis, and was the design approach to develop initial visons for a former cattle market site, in Liskeard, Cornwall, which is to become a new hub for the local community.

Outside of the office, Johanna enjoys anything sporty or creative. At the weekends she can be found at the local climbing centre, painting or tending to her growing number of edible plants.
