Jemima Brakspear

Architectural Assistant
BA Architecture

Jemima is a Part 1 Architectural Assistant who joined JTP after completing her Architecture Undergraduate degree at the University of Edinburgh.

Since joining JTP, Jemima has been conducting initial site research into a project’s local vernacular to produce informed contemporary houses type proposals which are in keeping with the context and materiality of the surrounding environment.

During her time at university, Jemima focussed on the incorporation of secondary architecture materials into her designs to create a truly recycled tectonic which is both sustainable and visually intriguing. She also has experience working on highly sustainable passive house projects, as well as using timber components to design and construct festival stages and event spaces.

Jemima is an enthusiastic cyclist, charity shopper and runner who enjoys the outdoors and music festivals.
