Ivana Stanisic

Ivana is an architect at JTP. She previously studied architecture and urban planning at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad, Serbia where she completed her Masters in Architecture. She then moved to the UK where she gained experience working on various residential projects in London and Surrey.

Since joining JTP, Ivana has worked on the outline and detailed planning application for a new neighbourhood in Hungate, York, which was the largest remaining development opportunity within the city’s walls and outside its Conservation Area; and more recently The Oaks, a new, €400 million, 220-home development residential development 20 km south-east of Prague, based on a contemporary interpretation of a Czech village. She was also part of the team which gained detailed planning permission for the redevelopment of the former Hampshire Police Station, which will create 208 new homes in a sensitive setting.

Ivana has a keen interest in architecture and its role in a contemporary city development, and how it can have a positive impact on communities. She enjoys making the connection between sociology, architecture, and urban planning.
