Dave Swindells

An Associate at JTP, Dave has over 16 years' experience in architectural practice, with projects covering public and private residential, commercial, leisure, office and hospitality, including many mixed-use schemes. He has expertise with high-density urban regeneration projects and the associated technical challenges they pose. These are often on difficult and constrained sites and range from feasibility and capacity studies to detailed planning applications.

Recently he has been responsible for the submission of One Vinyl Square, a detailed planning application for 134 new homes with ground floor commercial uses, forming the final residential phase of the Old Vinyl Factory development in Hayes. He is also involved with projects across London, Cambridge and Guildford.

Dave is an experienced Revit user and is involved in developing the practice's expanding use of BIM as a collaborative design tool to prepare planning submissions.

Away from the office, Dave is a keen triathlete. He champions cycle-friendly design and also set up the JTP running club – Collaborative Pacemaking.
