Camille Davison

Architectural Assistant
MA (Hons) MArch

Camille joined the JTP Edinburgh Studio as a Part II Architectural Assistant after completing her Master of Architecture degree at the University of Edinburgh.

Focussing on issues of community engagement throughout her studies and building on this interest within the practice, Camille has explored how conversations with the local community and stakeholders can generate thoughtful and sustainable design solutions.

Whilst at JTP, Camille has contributed to multiple projects across the UK. Most recently, Camille has been working towards the creation of a planning application for a sustainable residential settlement of 89 homes at Newport, Essex. The project includes a vibrant masterplan that is connected to the unique architectural style of the existing village. This was achieved through the creation of extensive research booklets which explored the materials, colours, and patterns of the village alongside studies of neighbouring elevations to generate contemporary house type designs that reflect the local vernacular.

Outside of the office, Camille is a keen illustrator and enjoys attending life drawing classes with friends, playing guitar and writing songs.
