Bill Sands

Head of Visualisation
BA (Hons) DipArch

Bill joined JTP as a 3D visualiser and is now head of the visualisation department.

Bill has played a key role in the type and quality of imagery the in-house Visualisation team can produce. Applying their skills to a wide range of projects, the team are abile to produce the highest quality photo-realistic stills, animations, aerial master plans, massing studies, shadow studies, and many other outputs, to compliment and inform the design process. The recent initiative of producing 3D prints in-house has proved of great benefit to both the practice and our clients. Bill’s attention to detail allows us to keep the accuracy and standards high, and be confident in our production of VVM images for planning purposes.

Bill's involvement can be seen in a number of projects across the office, including Kew Bridge, a scheme located on the northern bank of the River Thames, overlooking the World Heritage site of Kew Gardens and comprising buildings in a number of different architectural styles; and the award-winning Graylingwell Park, a former hospital in Chichester.

Outside of the office, Bill is involved in the running of a thriving youth club and various charity fundraising activities. He also enjoys cycling, walking, computer gaming and anything DIY related – things don't stay broken at home for long!
