Alec Borrill

B(Arch) Dip(Arch) ARB

Alec is a Senior Architect at JTP with a background in delivery of residential and commercial projects in London and the South East.

He is currently involved in a large-scale regeneration project in East London, offering a technical and practical viewpoint to the architectural design aspirations of the scheme at the early planning stages.

Alec offers a technical, compliance, and practical viewpoint to architectural design at early planning stages; ensuring continuity from conceptual design through to built reality. His expertise with modelling software Revit enables him to communicate the complexities of and solutions to project challenges to the wider team.

Outside of the office Alec has a keen interest in food, particularly baking, and combines this with a love of travel to extend his menu repertoire; he offsets this research by frequenting the Olympic Pool in Stratford and religiously attending Saturday morning ParkRuns trying to break his PB.

Growing up on the south coast he acquired an interest in sea travel, particularly the golden era of transatlantic shipping, developing a soft spot for the SS Normandie; at slightly smaller scale he skippers a 13ft laser when home.
