JTP is incredibly proud to be named a Sunday Times 100 Best Small Companies to Work For 2018.
Our inaugural year saw us placed at number 73 in the prestigious list.
Having achieved Best Companies accreditation for ten consecutive years, this is the first time the practice has been named as a Sunday Times Best Small Companies to Work For and also awarded Best Companies 3 Star “Extraordinary” accreditation.
The Best Companies Accreditation standard acknowledges excellence in the workplace and focuses on employee engagement as an integral component of an organisation's success and growth. The star rating is determined by employee feedback collected via responses to the Best Companies Survey against eight factors of workplace engagement.
The survey obtains employee feedback across categories including wellbeing, leadership, engagement and benefits.
In the last year we have seen a significant increase in wellbeing scores in particular as a result of a renewed focus on improving work/life balance through new initiatives including a Flexi-Leave scheme and a Long Service Award. Overall these new benefits have resulted in an additional 165 extra days to be spent with family, recharging, and pursuing new adventures.
JTP’s pioneering interest-free Housing Support Loan has also seen significant uptake, to date enabling 19% of our employees to get a foot on the property ladder in London.
Janet Lewis, HR & Operations Partner, said “We are thrilled to have made the Top 100 Best Small Companies to Work For and to be recognised as a 3 Star “Extraordinary” place to work. We place great emphasis on employee engagement and are pleased to see a series of new initiatives and benefits to further improve wellbeing and work/life balance have been so well received by our teams”.
