The latest consultation event was the Options Exhibition which was held on 12 November at St. Mary Magdalene Church, Beaconview Road. Local people were invited to come along and view series of Options which JTP think could work on their estate. The residents were asked to choose which Option they think is best for where they live.
"Seeing is Believing" Tour: Wednesday 19 August 2009
A "Seeing is Believing" tour to regeneration projects at Lyng Estate, West Bromwich and Castle Vale, Birmingham took place on Wednesday 19 August 2009.
The trip was organised for residents of Charlemont Farm to see the results of estate regeneration and meet local residents who have been through the regeneration process.
Community Planning Weekend: Friday 11 & Saturday 12 September 2009.
A Community Planning Weekend facilitated by JTP was held on Friday 11 and Saturday 12 September 2009. The outcomes were analysed and summarised by the team from JTP and reported back to the community on 29th September 2009.
Background
JTP have been selected by Sandwell MBC to work with residents from the Charlemont Farm estate to develop the Neighbourhood Plan. Between June and December 2009 a series of consultation activities were organised for local people to get involved in planning the Durham.
