Seeing Is Believing Trip: Wednesday 25 November 10.30am - 2.30pm

Residents from The Durham Estate were invited on a free trip to see the results of estate regeneration in South Birmingham and Sandwell.

The trip was an opportunity to meet local residents who have been through the regeneration process as well as seeing improvements in landscape, housing and community buildings that could be seen on the Durham Estate.

The Durham Estate Community Planning Events are being organised by John Thompson & Partners, Architects, Urban Designers and Community Planners on behalf of Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council.

Options Exhibition: 11 November 2009

The latest consultation event was the Options Exhibition which was held on 11 November at Hamstead Childrens Centre.  Local people were invited to come along and view a series of Options which JTP believe could work on their estate.  The residents were asked to choose which Option they think is best for where they live.

Community Planning Evening: Wednesday 29 July 2009 5pm-9pm

A Community Planning Evening facilitated by JTP was held on 29 July 2009.  The event involved a Community Walkabout for local residents to show the JTP team what they like and don't like about the Durham Estate. This was followed by a Community Workshop to plan the future of Durham Estate
